La Vanguardia Magazine. Tasting sketchbooks
A series of illustrations developed for the magazine of La Vanguardia as part of a monographic issue dedicated to wine. The project is conceived as a set of tasting sketchbooks, understood as visual frameworks for translating sensory experience. The works explore the different phases of tasting (visual, olfactory, and gustatory) through color, material, and gesture. The process combines gouache with intensely pigmented and radiant acrylic inks, Indian ink, and experimental applications using wine itself as a medium. Vineyard elements such as branches and vine leaves are also incorporated to generate textures and organic marks. The series is complemented by landscape sketches of vineyards, integrating territory and perception within a unified visual language.
