Hi!
I'm Maru Godas, a freelance illustrator and sketcher based in Barcelona.
I love paint and design. I'm extremely passionate about illustration, painting and urban sketching.
I worked over 18 years as freelance designer and illustrator for publishers such as RBA, Salvat editors, Planeta de Agostini, National Geographic and "La Caixa” Foundation among others. I'm the author of two digital illustrated children books and a sketched guide of Park Güell.
I am also the illustrator and author of Organic Beauty, a book about organic cosmetics and natural beauty, edited by Gustavo Gili editorial.

Currently my professional activity is focused on painting and illustration, also in the creation of illustrated books. I combine creative activities with workshops and trips where I teach and practice urban sketching.
