Mural design for The Kids Room, New York.
This project consists of a large-scale mural, approximately 20 meters wide, created for The Kids Room, a space for play, reading, and interactive physical activity for children, located in a residential building at 505 State Street in New York.
The concept is based on the representation of diverse landscapes from around the world, including cold environments, warm climates, jungles, and marine scenes. The aim is to create an immersive visual environment where children can explore and connect with a wide range of forms, colors, and atmospheres, both organic and inorganic.
All elements were initially hand-drawn and later digitized, scanned, and composed through a digital collage process, combining the spontaneity of manual drawing with the precision required for large-scale composition.
The project encourages imagination, a sense of freedom, and spatial awareness, creating depth and openness while fostering a connection with nature and animals through play and visual exploration.
